Car Trouble

My DH called me yesterday to tell me his car wouldn't start. Well the way it sounded he needed a new battery and probably a jump to go get one. I told him to use the other car in the garage to get it jumped. Well he couldn't figure it out so I told him to wait until I got home.

My son calls about 2:45 and forgot his bus pass so I have to get him. Ok fine because I need to get my DH's car going anyway. So I call him like a million times and he is sleeping and not answering. So I get him up when I get home and try to jump his car. Try it first with my new car -- nada and then with my older car nada!

So I call and talk to my Ex -- can you put a new battery in my DH's car and he says ya. So I call up and get the battery and will have to take the old one back later to get the core charge back. Get my Ex over to replace the battery -- did I mention it is like 5 degrees outside during this? lol So he switches batteries and you guessed it -- NOTHING! Grrrrrrr so now what!

Turns out it is the starter. Mind you this will be the 3rd starter that he has put in this car in roughly about a year and a half. I don't know if his remote starter is screwing it up or what. So now we have to have the car towed down here and my Ex will put the new starter on it tonight in the warehouse where it will be half way warm at least and the part is covered under warranty so that helps!

I haven't been feeling the best so I ended up crashing at about 7:30 last night only to wake up at 2:30 this morning and toss and turn for about 2 hours before I can finally go back to sleep. So I am dragging again today and can't leave early or anything because of the car trouble. But I will probably end up crashing early again tonight.
